Alsum Farms & Produce, Inc. is very committed to food safety. We follow the Good Agricultural Practices in our farming operation and Good Manufacturing Practices for our packing operation. Alsum Produce is currently audited by AIB, Primus, USDA, and Protected Harvest.

GAP helps to ensure that the desired degree of pest and disease control is attained for maximum yield while protecting people and the environment. At Alsum Farms & Produce, Inc. we practice Integrated Pest Management in our farming practices. Our IPM practices are carried through in the Healthy Grown™ potatoes that we grow. As part of our Healthy Grown™ certification we work to preserve areas for wildlife on our farm. Our Healthy Grown™ potatoes are “Good for you and Good for the Environment.”
