Our refrigerated fleet of trucks delivers Alsum fresh fruits and vegetables to our 60,000-square-foot ventilated, environmentally- and humidity-controlled packing sheds in Arena and Friesland, Wisconsin.
Our Healthy Grown® Wisconsin potatoes are cleaned, graded and packed in a fully-automated quality-controlled process that is audited annually by Protected Harvest to ensure sustainability quality standards are met and exceeded. This process includes:
All our fresh fruits and vegetables are kept cool and dry in a ventilated, humidity-controlled packing shed until they are ready to be transported by our fleet of refrigerated trailers.
Our entire sizing, grading, inspection and packing process meets and exceeds Protected Harvest and the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Harvesting and Packing Practices (GHP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) quality and safety standards.
