We can vouch for our fresh produce because we grow our own eco-friendly Wisconsin potatoes and carefully select the grower and suppliers we partner with. But there’s more to quality control than trusting the people you do business with. We utilize third-party standards and audits to demonstrate our commitment to food safety and expect the same of our partners.

At Alsum Farms & Produce we:

  • Adhere to Good Agricultural Practices and are annually inspected by Primus. We had a perfect score of 100% in our most recent inspection.
  • Request that all our grower/suppliers be GAP certified and provide GAP training for our partners.
  • Are annually audited by AIB, MOSA, Primus and USDA.
  • Exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) standards in our packing operation.
  • Inspect all incoming and inventoried fresh produce to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Store our fresh produce in automated, refrigerated environmentally-controlled packing sheds.
  • Ship produce in refrigerated trailers with temperature monitors.
  • Guarantee satisfaction.
