Smoked Brisket Baked Potato
Switch it up and top your baked russet potato with smoked Texas brisket for a flavorful and filling meal!
Ingredients
- 1 Alsum russet potato
- 4 Ounces Brisket prepared
- 1 Tablespoon BBQ sauce prepared
- ⅛ Cup Jalapenos sliced
- ⅛ Cup Picked onions prepared
- 1 Teaspoon Sea salt
- 1 Teaspoon Olive oil
Instructions
- Heat oven to 450°F.
- Spray or rub your potatoes in olive oil.
- Poke potatoes with a fork all over to help with equal cooking.
- Bake the potatoes for 60 minutes.
- After 60 minutes, pull the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.
- After cooling the potatoes, cut them open lengthwise and top with brisket, BBQ sauce, jalapenos, and pickled onions.
Notes
This BBQ baked potato can be topped with any of your favorite BBQ meats from brisket, pulled pork, to sausage.
